Christmas Tree Recycling Program
City of Ionia residents may dispose of their Christmas Trees by placing them street side for collection by 7:00 AM on the following dates.
- Wednesday, January 8
- Wednesday, January 15
Trees placed by the curb must be free of tree stands, ornaments, lights and not in a plastic Christmas tree disposal bag, as they will be mulched using the City’s brush chipper. Contact City Hall at (616) 527-4170 if you have any questions.
