The City of Ionia Dial-A-Ride is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Public Transportation Driver. This position is part-time at approximately 29 hours per week with the potential of full-time. Duties include operating a small bus, rider interaction, performing daily pre-trip/post-trip inspections, collection of fares, record keeping on a tablet, operating a hydraulic lift, mobility device securement, monitoring the activity and safety onboard the vehicle, two-way radio communication with dispatch and other drivers, and other duties as assigned.
