The City of Ionia has received a Categorical Exclusion (CE) determination for its proposed Lead Service Line Replacement Project through the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Water Infrastructure Funding and Financing Section.
A 30-day public comment period is now open for citizens, organizations, and government agencies to review and provide comments on the project.

This information is also available online at Michigan.gov/SRF under “Environmental Project Reviews.” It presents information related to the proposed project, including the alternative selected, rationale for EGLE's decision to grant a Categorical Exclusion, and other pertinent information. Map(s) showing the location of the proposed project are also included.
All interested parties are encouraged to review the document and submit comments during the public comment period.
